Topic: Temptation
We all face temptation. But there is good news. God will not tempt us beyond what we can handle.
1 Cor 10:13 "No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
Pray and ask God for an escape.
Matt 26:41 "Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Sometimes we feel we want to do right but temptation is always there. God knows & will assist.
Rom 7:21 "So I find it to be a law that when I want to do right, evil lies close at hand." We always have an escape. The flesh is weak and will try to convince us to give in but "resist the devil and he will flee from you." James 4:7.
Pray: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
