Heath vs Tree

TGIF's Word
Jer 17:5-8
We have two choices we can be a heath or a tree. A heath is "bare, naked & destitute" growing in a desert. It is neither planted nor does it bare fruit.  A tree however is planted and brings forth fruit.
God's word says (paraphrased)
If we believe or rely  in ourselves or in man & our heart is not with God we will be like a heath in the wilderness (uncultivated, neglected area) . But if we trust in God we will be like a tree with fruit and green leaves planted in the river. When trials come we would not worry and even in a drought we would not be anxious but would continue to be prosperous!
Lets be a tree!
When the world is in recession we would be in a blessed session. When the heaths are living in shame & disgrace wandering in an uncultivated place, we would be walking in God's grace, surrounded by beautiful landscape. When wherever we go, everything we touch would begin to flourish & grow.  When trials come, we would neither worry or cry, knowing we are covered, that is why, Jesus died.

We must pray & encourage the heath  not strive to be a heath. We must know who we are..... We are planted by God to bare fruit from God (Gal 5:22-23) . Lets walk in the blessings of God.
Have a great weekend. God bless you!
Read Jeremiah 17:5-8

Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord. For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness....Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope is The Lord . For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
