Stay Alert, Watch your back, & Give it to God!

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡
Stay Alert, Watch your back, & Give it to God!

We should give all of our cares and worries to The Lord. We should also remain on alert.

When we give our cares to God we must continue to watch and pray.

In watching we may observe things that were once out of sight. In prayer we may receive further instructions from Jesus on what to do and how to do it.

We should always be mindful that there is a enemy lurking, looking for someone to devour.

1 Peter 5:7-8 (NLT)
Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.
Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

Don’t allow the enemy to devour you or yours. Give it to God, watch, and pray.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you!

Sin is seductive

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡
Sinning prevents you from Winning!

Sin is a heavy weight. Sin is seductive.

When we sin, sin becomes our master. We then commit ourselves to serving our sin.

Think about the things that have control over you.....

You are committed to it. You make excuses why you are the way you are and why you do the things you do.

1 Corinthians 6:12 (NLT)
You say, “I am allowed to do anything”—but not everything is good for you. And even though “I am allowed to do anything,” I must not become a slave to anything.

John 8:34 (NLT)
Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave of sin.

In order to truly win we have to let go of sin.

Hebrews 12:1 (NLT)
Let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.

Don’t be a slave to your desires. Everything you can do is not good for you. Get rid of those simple habits and addictions that easily cause you to stumble. Get rid of pride, guilt, fear, gluttony, anger, bitterness, gossip, anxiousness, un-forgiveness, greed, lust, selfishness, etc

Get rid of every weight that holds you down. Be free in Jesus. Who the Son sets free is free indeed. Be free!

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you!

Give! Heavenly Tool

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡
Heavenly Tools

There is one tool in this series. Give!

Giving is a wonderful tool. It has many wonderful benefits. It can be used in almost any situation. This tool is often underutilized because most do not understand its value.

There are different types of giving. Before we get into the types of giving we must first explore how to give and why to give.

Give Cheerfully
2 Corinthians 9:7 (NLT)
You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”

Why Give?
Luke 6:38 (NLT)
Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.”

There is a promise attached to your giving. God promises to give you more than you gave.

Give Your Genius.
Your genius is unique to you. It’s the the thing that sets you apart. It’s the thing you try to dim when it makes others uncomfortable. It is your gift. Do not dim your light. Lights were created to shine. When you shine, you are at your best. When you are at your best your genius is at work.

Proverbs 18:16 (NKJV)
A man's gift makes room for him, And brings him before great men.

Your gift is the key to the door you are waiting for God to open.
Your gift opens the door.
You must give your gift and you will receive your blessing.

Giving to God
God wants our best. He doesn’t want the leftovers. God wants our best because He wants to give us the best.

Proverbs 3:9 (NLT)
Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce.
2 Corinthians 9:8 (NLT)
And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.

Giving to others
We are called to give with love and when we give will our hearts there is no time to look for faults.

Proverbs 11:25 (NLT)
The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.

Your capacity to give is different from any other person on this earth. Do not give according to what you receive, give according to the capacity God has given you. Open your heart and give.

If you were hurt and you are protecting yourself by not giving as much as you could, you will never receive all that God has for you. God is your protector. Trust Him to protect you and give cheerfully.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’žyou!

Work Hard & Pay Your Bills

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡
Heavenly Tools

There are 2 tools in this series. Work Hard & Pay your bills!

Work Hard
We are God’s representatives in the earth. We are called to work. Our work should represent who we represent. Our God is not lazy. We should give our full gifts and talents at work.
God has gifted us with our talents. When we use them, we use them to the glory of God. God will reward us.

Joseph was wrongfully incarcerated for years. Yet, Joseph relentlessly gave his full gifts and talents while in jail. Joseph knew who was and who he represented.

The quality of our effort at work should not depend on the quality of the people we work with or the quality of the organization.

Your employer does not define you.
You know who you are.
You are a child of the Most High God.
You are a child of the Creator of the universe. You are a child of the King
You are royalty.
Jesus died for you.
When you show up for work you change the atmosphere, do not allow the atmosphere to change you.

Colossians 3:23 (NLT)
Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.

Ephesians 6:7-8 (NLT)
Work with enthusiasm, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Remember that the Lord will reward each one of us for the good we do, whether we are slaves or free.

Romans 12:11 (NLT)
Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically.

Pay your bills
The only debt we should owe is love. We should work hard to stay out of debt. It is not God’s desire for us to live in bondage. Debt is bondage. We cannot fully operate in our calling when we are weighed down with debt. Debt keeps us obligated to something other than Jesus. It keeps us in a self-inflicted prison.

Romans 13:7 (NLT)
Give to everyone what you owe them: Pay your taxes and government fees to those who collect them, and give respect and honor to those who are in authority.

Romans 13:8 (NLT)
Owe nothing to anyone—except for your obligation to love one another.

Work as if you are working for the Lord and God will reward you. When you are rewarded pay your bills!

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you!

Heavenly Tools

Faith!
Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡
Heavenly Toolbox Series
There is 1 iron packed tool in this series.

Faith
This tool has many uses. I urge you to read more on faith.
What is faith?
Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen.
When we go before God we have to have our evidence. Our evidence is our faith. Faith is a gift from God. It is our VIP access card!

Why do we need faith?
Hebrews 11:6 (NLT)
It is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

When and where do we use faith?
Faith is needed everyday and in every way.
God blesses according to our faith.
God heals us according to our faith.
God fights for us according to our faith.
Mark 5:34 (NLT)
And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. Your suffering is over.”
Luke 18:42-43 (NLT)
And Jesus said, “All right, receive your sight! Your faith has healed you.” Instantly the man could see.

How to receive faith?
We cannot earn faith. Faith is a gift from God. Everyone has been given a measure of faith. To receive more faith listen and ask!
Luke 11:9-10 (NLT)
“And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.
Romans 10:17 (KJV)
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

How do we keep our faith?
Hebrews 12:2 (NLT)
We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith.

Our ability to operate in our purpose is directly related to our faith. We have all been given a measure of faith and our faith increases the more we use it. Our faith increases when we hear the word and apply the word of God. Our faith increases when we focus on Jesus and not ourselves.

2 Corinthians 5:7 (KJV)
For we walk by faith, not by sight.

If God is calling you into your purpose don’t be  afraid. God has not given you the spirit of fear. God has given you faith. Take your faith to God and cast your fear into the pit of hell. Trust God to do what He said He would do.

Fear is faith’s opposer. Faith comes from Jesus and fear comes from the enemy.  Serve Jesus and exercise your Faith!

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you!

Romans 12:9-10 (NLT)
Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them........ Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.

When was the last time you took delight in someone? Honor three people today with love and affection. Tell someone how much you appreciate them.

Hate
Yes, we are allowed to hate in certain circumstances.
Ecclesiastes 3:8 (KJV) A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
God wants us to hate evil. Hate things that are bad. Love the person hate the act!
Romans 12:9
Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good.

BlessπŸ™πŸΎ
It’s easy to love those who love us and bless those who bless us. God wants us to bless those that curse us. God wants us to bless those that try to harm us. God wants us to love our enemies to the point where we pray for their success.

Is there someone that is a thorn in your side? Is there someone that truly irritates you? Pray for them today with a pure heart. Pray that God would bless them abundantly.
You have what that person needs. Jesus has placed you in their life to be a blessing. Do not allow anger to keep you from your assignment.

Trust

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡

Trust the Lord with all your heart and sing thanksgiving to the Lord. He is your help in time of need, your shield in battle, your joy in sorrow.

Psalms 28:6-7 (NLT)

Praise the Lord! For he has heard my cry for mercy. The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.

The depth of our joy cannot be experienced in this world unless we accept it from our Lord.

We were created for God’s glory. Trust Him with all your heart. Sing to the Lord. Thank Him for what what he is doing. Victory is yours if you believe.

Psalms 28:8 (KJV)

The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.

You are His anointed!

Death Trap

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡
Death Trap

Sometimes life gets too heavy and thoughts of suicide and desperation blocks our thinking.

It is a trap! Jesus loves you and is absolutely crazy about you. There is nothing too hard for Him. There is nothing you could do to separate you from His unfailing love. Don’t allow guilt, pain, or despair to cloud your vision.

2 Samuel 22:6-7 (NLT)
The grave wrapped its ropes around me; death laid a trap in my path. But in my distress I cried out to the Lord; yes, I cried to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry reached his ears.

If you are in distress call out to the Lord. The Lord will hear your cry.

Whatever you are facing the Lord can reach down from heaven and save you.

2 Samuel 22:17-19 (NLT)
“He reached down from heaven and rescued me; he drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemies, from those who hated me and were too strong for me. They attacked me at a moment when I was in distress, but the Lord supported me.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you!

Trust The Lord

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡

You may not understand the plan but know the Master has you in His hands. You are not your own. Everything connected to you belongs to the one who created you. You may feel you have control but you are fragile, you are clay, molded by the Master day by day.

Isaiah 55:8-9 (NLT)
“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.
For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways
and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.

Trust the Lord, even when your heart feels as if it’s shattered.
Trust the Lord when you don’t understand. Trust the Lord when your life feels as if it’s hanging by a strand.
Trust the Lord, when you are confused.
Trust the Lord when you think you know what to do.
Trust the Lord, when the bills are due and your dollars are few.
Trust the Lord, when the options are many and you have plenty.
Trust the Lord always.
Trust the Lord in ups and in downs.

Your promise is birthed from your purpose. Your purpose in planted when your potential meets your pain and you plow forward in the rain, trusting the Father to lead the way and give you the grace to make it day by day.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you!

Fan the flame

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡

Fan the flames πŸ”₯!

Can you tell when your internal Holy flame has weakened?

We must fan the flame. We live in an instant society. Everything happens by a flick of a switch or push of a button.

There is no magic button in our walk with the Lord. There is no propane switch that will ignite our flame.

There is no electricity that will keep our embers lit.

We have to fan the flame. We have to put in the work. We have to read our word to nourish our Spirit. We have to continually pray. We have to fast to to die to self so we can hear from God.

2 Timothy 1:6 (NLT)

This is why I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you when I laid my hands on you.

Believing in Jesus is just the beginning.  To operate in Jesus you have to fan the flame.

2 Timothy 1:7 (NLT)

For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

To have power you have to fan the flame.

To have love you have to fan the flame.

To have sound mind and self discipline, you have to fan the flame.

Jeremiah 20:9 (NLT)

....his word burns in my heart like a fire. It’s like a fire in my bones!

Live in an eternal flame.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you!

God can change His positioning

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡πŸ€—

Our prayers can cause God to change His positioning.

God is our provider and our protector. He is our shield and our fortress. When we call on Him in our hour of need He can change His positioning for our comfort.

The angel of God was leading the camp of Israel out of slavery when they approached the Red Sea. They saw their captors behind them and they were petrified.

Years of trauma and dead ends could cause us to desire pain and resent hope, accept poverty and resent wealth, allow sickness and abandon healing. Years of dryness could cause us to self sabotage and block our blessings.

Exodus 14:12 (NLT)
Didn’t we tell you this would happen while we were still in Egypt? We said, ‘Leave us alone! Let us be slaves to the Egyptians. It’s better to be a slave in Egypt than a corpse in the wilderness!’”

There is a point in our dryness where we give up, where we stop dreaming, stop fighting, and stop hoping. When we reach that point it is hard for us to see God.

Exodus 14:19-20 (KJV)
And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:

God was in front of their face but they couldn’t see Him.
They were paralyzed by their past they couldn’t see God and His glory.

God changed His positioning so they could move forward.

When we follow God we have to put our blinders on and focus on the path forward. We cannot look to the left or the right at the water that may consume us. We cannot look back at the past that may capture us. We have to look forward toward our loving God that will protect us, that will provide for us, and that will lead us towards righteousness for His name sake.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you.

Go Forward

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡

Go forward!

When God gives us a command to go, we must go. It could be a mission trip, a business, an adoption, a ministry, higher education, etc. Stay focused on the task.

Sometimes during our journey we hit what appears to be a dead end. In those moments we have to continue to stand on the word of God.

If God said go that is enough to stand on.

The children of Israel fled Egypt. They were in the wilderness with the Red Sea in front of them and their enemies behind them.

This appeared to be a dead end. This appeared to be an impossible situation.

When they prayed, God said why are you crying go forward!

Exodus 14:15 (KJV)
And the Lord said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:

The command doesn’t change when the situation changes.

God is aware of the obstacles when He gives the commands.

Our mission is bigger than ourselves.

Remember we are not our own and our missions belong to Jesus.

Our obstacles strengthen our faith.
Our obstacles strengthens the faith of those that are watching us.
Our obstacles reveal to our enemies that our God is Lord.

So when you face opposition continue to stand on God’s word. Someone’s deliverance is in your obedience.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves you!

Fear Not

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡☀️πŸ€—

How are you fighting?

Sometimes our fight is in our silence. Sometimes our fight is in our stillness.

Words have power and can bring about an adverse result when we panic. Fear causes us to oppose the Lord and confess things that are contrary to the word of God. Fear is the opposite of faith.

Fear opposes God while faith is harmonious with God. Fear causes us to join our opposer instead of stand with our Avenger!

“I’m hanging in there” will cause us to hang instead of stand on the Rock of Christ Jesus.

We do not glorify God when we declare defeat mid battle by complaining.

Exodus 14:13-14 (KJV)
And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.
The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

Fear Not
Stand Still
See God

When we are afraid we can’t see.

Hold your peace. Be confident. Be still. Keep quiet. Look for God. God will fight for you. Stand on His word and trust Him.

Fear not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord!

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you!

Start

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡πŸ˜

We have dreams and aspirations God has given to us to execute.

Why do we fail to get started?

Sometimes we compare our progress with others and become discouraged.
Sometimes we count all the reasons why we can’t instead of how we can.

We consider ourselves instead of our God.

Zechariah 4:10 (NLT)
Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.

How amazing is that! The Lord rejoices when we begin. God is joyful and delighted when we start what He has given us.

.........................................................

Jesus is cheering you on when you make those first steps.

You have your own cheering section in heaven. What God has placed in you is crafted especially for you. God did not give you the dream to wish, he gave it to you as a blue print to act.

Start today!
If you have already started don’t give up.
If you have started but stopped, start again. God is with you rejoicing in your new beginnings.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’• you!

Time To Operate

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡πŸ€—

There are things God wants to achieve through us, in us, around us, but most importantly with us.
It will require sensitivity to the move of God.
Complete presence and submission to the will of God.
Expeditious responsiveness to directions from God.

We can truly hear God when we are actively in fellowship and communion with the Holy Spirit. We have to guard our flesh from activities that are unfruitful to our Spirit.

When someone has surgery or gives blood the first thing the clinician does is clean the area. The area must be sterile to avoid contamination.

If God is calling you to separate yourself.....it’s time to cleanse.
If God is calling you to minimize social distractions....it’s time to cleanse.
If God is calling you for more prayer, fasting, and worship.....it’s time to cleanse.
If God is calling you for more time in the Word ....it’s time to cleanse.

Jesus wants to use you for God’s glory. Cleansing is required for the Holy to fully operate. Cleansing is required for healing and deliverance. Cleansing is required for effectiveness in ministry.

Zechariah 4:6 (KJV)
....Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit,
saith the Lord of hosts.

It’s God’s Spirit that called you out. It’s God’s Spirit that gives you the strength to walk out your purpose.

You cannot do it in your own strength you need the Spirit of the Lord.

Surrender your will to the Lord and when He operates be sure to give Him all the glory.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’• you.

God’s Light πŸ’‘

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡
God is a sun to us, he enlightens us. He shines on our darkness. He illuminates areas where we should seek Him.

God is a shield, He protects us and perfects us.

The Lord gives us grace. He gives us favor. He bestows Honor.

There is no good thing God will withhold from us when we walk with Him.

Psalms 84:11 (KJV)
For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

In life you may have questions about why something is happening or not happening.
Ask yourself a few questions......
Is God protecting me from something?
Is God perfecting me in this situation?
Is God shining his light on my weakness to show me areas where I need more of Him?

God’s word is true.
God will shine light on your weakness.....face it.
God will give you grace and glory.......accept it!
God will give you good according to what He defines as good....trust Him!
Trust Jesus!

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’• you!

Focus on the whole!

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡
Our lives are big circles ⭕️ filled with many components and many slices.
Slices include family, career, health, wealth, sanity, partner, children, or whatever else we have in our lives.

We all have many slices. When we face trials we sometimes focus on one battered slice and not the whole pie.

When we are in need it’s usually one or two slices of our lives that are severely impacted.

We forget to feast on the whole pie while we give the battered slices to the Lord. We wallow in our 20% of lack instead of giving God glory for our 80% of abundance.

When we change our perspective we can look at our 80 and give God glory!
We know we serve the Almighty God who is able to do exceedingly and abundantly more than we could think or ask.

God is so good! Even our broken slices have Glory.

For instance if the slice of life that is broken and battered is your health, you still have health. There is glory as long as you have life.

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 (NLT)
For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!
So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.

Ask God to change your perspective. Ask Jesus to help you see the whole and not just the slices.

Storms pass and troubles don’t last. If you are in a continual storm maybe it’s time to change your perspective. Don’t be a storm chaser. Serve the Storm Eraser!

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you!

Stay Focused

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡

Don’t get sidetracked!

Life can take us through many changes. Regardless of the change stay focused on your purpose.

Proverbs 4:25-27 (NLT)
Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you. Mark out a straight path for your feet; stay on the safe path.
Don’t get sidetracked; keep your feet from following evil.

Forget the past stay focused on the task.

Philippians 3:13-14 (NLT)
No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.

Don’t get sidetracked stay focused on Jesus!

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’• you!

Whole Heart❤️

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡πŸ’ž
What are you searching for today?

God promises us that when we search for Him with all our heart we will find Him. When we pray He will listen.

Jeremiah 29:12-13 (NKJV)
Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.  And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

We have to search for God with our whole hearts. Not with our impatient hearts. Not with our doubtful hearts but with our whole hearts focused on Him.

God is greater than any circumstance and any situation. Even when it seems enormous. God is greater.

When we focus on our problem we begin to worship our problem and not our God. Jesus wants our worship. God is a jealous God.
Tell your problem about your God.

You cannot serve two masters. Chose who you will serve. Your problem or your God?

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’• you!

Discipline =Disciple

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡
Discipline=Disciple

It is impossible to become a disciple without discipline.
There is what we think is right and then there is what God declares is correct.

Hebrews 12:11 (NLT)
No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening it’s painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way.

When we make a choice to live for God we must submit to the will of God.
Discipline will come with submission. We cannot submit to God and still have our way. We have to position ourselves for growth.
That will allow us to live a life that reflects the glory of the Lord.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you!

Do you hear?

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡
Do you know God’s voice?

In childcare, parents pick their toddlers up at the end of the day. When the toddlers hear their parent, they immediately drop everything and run full force to find them. They often begin to cry when they think they cannot reach their parent quickly or if they believe their parent might leave again without them.

Do we drop everything in haste when we hear our Father calling? Do we dread the thought of God leaving without us?

John 10:3-5 (NKJV)
To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.”

The above passage suggests there were some sheep that did not belong to the Father.
Just like in childcare there are children that belong to different parents.
But the parent only calls their child.

Notice Jesus didn’t drag them out. He didn’t beat them out. He called and they came.
God only called His own by name.

We have to follow Jesus as if our life depends on it. We cannot afford to take our eyes off Christ or we will become lost.

Do you belong to God?
Will you know His voice when He calls?

You have a specific destination.
You have a God ordained purpose.
Don’t become distracted.
Fight to keep your position.
Fight to follow the Father.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’•you!

What are you fighting with?

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡
There is a weapon we must have with us in all circumstances. Not some but all. What are you fighting with today? What do you have in your arsenal?

Ephesians 6:16 (ESV)
In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one.

If you have the word but lack faith you will be defeated.

If you have prayer but lack faith you will be overwhelmed.

1 John 5:4 (ESV)
For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

You cannot win without faith.
You have to relentlessly encourage yourself and strengthen your faith daily. When you feel the voice of unbelief whisper in your ear you must immediately repent and ask the Lord to help your unbelief.

Fight those voices with the word of God. Our first battlefield is in our mind. Do not allow your mind to wander. Stay focused on the only one who can.

Isaiah 41:10 (ESV)
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Have faith in God in ALL circumstances!

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you!

Why does God save?

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡πŸ’ž
God saves us for one reason!
We often seek the Lord when we need financial assistance, healing, deliverance from something or someone, or some other issue.

The Lord saves us for one reason. God saves us so that we will worship Him.

If you are not prepared to worship the Lord you are not ready to be healed, set free financially, or delivered.

Exodus 9:1 (NLT)
“Go back to Pharaoh,” the Lord commanded Moses. “Tell him, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of the Hebrews, says: Let my people go, so they can worship me.

God is not interested in our part-time love and affection. God is not interested in our circumstantial love.

God is a jealous God. God wants us to love Him with all of our hearts, minds, and souls.

Matthew 22:37-38 (NKJV)
Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment.

Do you love the Lord? Is your love evident in your lifestyle? Begin your day with worship.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’žyou!

Dad’s Kids

Today’s Inspiration πŸ’žπŸ˜‡
Who is your Daddy?

1 John 3:1 (NLT)
See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him.

We are God’s children and we should have characteristics of our Father not of the the world. When we allow the Spirit of the Lord to reign in our lives it is easy to possess characteristics of our Father.

When we allow our flesh to reign we emancipate ourselves from our Father and take on the ways of the world.

Allow the Spirit of Lord to continually refine your identity. Knowing who you are helps you to stand when all others fall.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you!

We need more love πŸ’•

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡
John 15:17 (NKJV)
These things I command you, that you love one another.

How different would the world would be if followed this one simple command?

We cannot change the world but we can influence our world.

We have a circle of influence.
We must begin with loving ourselves.
Through consistency we will intentionally impact everyone in our circle by demonstrating love for them and love for others.
By our influence those in our circle will impact those in their circle and the cycle of love will continue to expand  and the cycle of hate will begin to shrink.

When we gossip we are judging and criticizing.
When we gossip we are advancing the enemy’s kingdom. When we gossip we are not loving one another. If we use the same energy to show love and compassion we will advance the Kingdom of the Lord through our obedience.

I was out of town and someone in the supermarket showed me an act of love and told me Jesus loved me and it pricked my heart and brought me to salvation.

We need more love.

Gossiping and criticizing keeps us bound to the enemy and not free in Christ Jesus.

Obey the Lord and love one another.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you!

What Do You Fear?

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡
Fear is a form of worship.
Whether you fear God or man you worship what you fear.

Take moment to think about who or what you fear. What is the root of that fear? Somewhere in that fear you have laid down our God and exalted your fear. Meaning you have made it bigger and larger than our God. You have made that person, place, or thing a god in your life.

We worship men when we obey them over Our Father.
We worship friends when we respond to peer pressure over God.
We worship money and things when we are afraid to give them away.
We worship our children when we are afraid to correct them.

Whenever we disobey God to obey someone else, we are worshiping that person or that thing.

Proverbs 29:25-26 (NKJV)
The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe. Many seek the ruler's favor, But justice for man comes from the Lord.

A snare is something that is deceptively attractive used to entrap and entangle.

We can’t be fooled into fearing anything or anyone other than the Lord.

Whatever you are facing, fear God alone. Do not consider the power or authority of sickness, employers, family, bullies or any other problem. Do not worship the problem, worship our Father, our matchless King. Jehovah Jireh is our provider. Jehovah Shalom is the Lord of peace. Jehovah Rapha is the Lord the heals.

Worship was created for God. Our God is the God over all other gods.

Acts 5:29 (NKJV)
But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you!

Dad’s Home

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡πŸ˜Š
God’s house is our house. We are the temples of the Lord. The Spirit of the Lord is in each of us.

Have we prepared a magnificent place for God to dwell?

2 Chronicles 2:4 (NLT)
I am about to build a Temple to honor the name of the Lord my God. It will be a place set apart to burn fragrant incense before him, to display the special sacrificial bread, and to sacrifice burnt offerings each morning and evening....

Do we honor the name of the Lord our God with our lives?
Do we set aside time to offer up worship and praise to the Lord day and night?
Do we deny our flesh so the Spirit of the Lord will reign supreme in our lives?

Solomon declared the greatness of our God. He built a magnificent temple to honor the Lord.

2 Chronicles 2:5-6 (NLT)
“This must be a magnificent Temple because our God is greater than all other gods. But who can really build him a worthy home? Not even the highest heavens can contain him!......

Do we declare the greatness of our God when we are tempted? Do we refuse to defile ourselves because we are vessels that are called to honor the name of the Lord?

Romans 12:1 (NLT)
And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.

Worship Jesus with your life! Think on the awesomeness of our Father and look deep inside to create a magnificent home for our Father to dwell.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you!

Refreshing

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡

Have you ever felt alone?
God is always with you. Jesus will never leave you.

Psalms 121:5-8 (NLT)
The Lord himself watches over you!
The Lord stands beside you as your protective shade. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night. The Lord keeps you from all harm
and watches over your life.
The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.

Life may test you and stretch you but God is with you. When the burdens are heavy and the solutions are few, reach for God to replenish and refresh you.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you!

Faith

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡
Are you allowing the word of God to strengthen your faith?

Romans 10:17 (KJV)
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

If your faith has been weakened it is probably hungry and thirsty for the word of God. People may encourage you but only the word of God can strengthen and fortify your faith.

Here are some faith strengtheners. Meditate on the word of God Day and night (Jos 1:8).

Combat fear
Joshua 1:9 (NLT)
This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Healing
Jeremiah 17:14 (NLT)
O Lord, if you heal me, I will be truly healed; if you save me, I will be truly saved. My praises are for you alone!

Peace
John 14:27 (NLT)
“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.

Wisdom
James 1:5-6 (NLT)
If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind.

Praise
Psalms 30:4 (NLT)
Sing to the Lord, all you godly ones! Praise his holy name.

Do not lose faith, strengthen your faith daily. Do not allow yourself to become unsettled. Stand firm knowing God is Sovereign and Omnipotent. If you do not understand what is going on with you or your loved ones remember you do not know the plans of the Lord.
1 Corinthians 1:25 (NLT)
This foolish plan of God is wiser than the wisest of human plans, and God’s weakness is stronger than the greatest of human strength.

Strengthen your faith with the word!

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’žyou!

Be A Blessing

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡

It is a blessing to be a blessing. God blesses us when we bless others with love, kind words, and a tender heart. God has called us to be blessing.

1 Peter 3:8-9 (NLT)
Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude. Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you his blessing.

Vengeance is for the Lord. Our duty is not to repay evil with evil but to give the gift of love.

Don’t allow someone to cause you to sin by displaying traits of the enemy. We are to have the character of God to draw men and women to Christ. We are not our own. We represent the Lord. When someone insults us we should remain firm knowing we are ambassadors of Christ.

It is only the enemy that would tempt us to sin, as he wishes to draw us to him and away from God. Do not fall into the enemy’s trap.
Ephesians 4:27 for anger gives a foothold to the devil.

It is a blessing to be a blessing and a curse to be a curse. When we sin we sin against the Lord. When we retaliate we sin against Jesus.
Be a blessing and you will be blessed.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you!

Fugitive Disciple

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡

Don’t become a fugitive disciple.

Sometimes we find our faith shaken and we begin to say and do things contrary to God’s word and will.

When God anoints you it means He has appointed you to an assignment. Keep your appointments with Jesus regardless of what is going on around you.

Elijah became a fugitive servant when his life was threatened. He retreated into the mountains, became irrational, and suicidal.

1 Kings 19:3-4 (NLT)
Elijah was afraid and fled for his life. He went to Beersheba, a town in Judah, and he left his servant there. Then he went on alone into the wilderness, traveling all day. He sat down under a solitary broom tree and prayed that he might die. “I have had enough, Lord,” he said. “Take my life, for I am no better than my ancestors who have already died.”

How often do we imagine the worst outcome when we are faced with calamities? How quickly do we forget our appointments when pressure mounts? How regularly do we focus on the problem instead of the Solver?

Matthew 11:28-30 (NLT)
Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

If your burdens are too heavy don’t become a fugitive disciple, don’t become suicidal, don’t execute your own plan, go to Jesus and He will give you rest.

It is hard to hear from The Lord when we are wallowing in our feelings. It is hard to hear from God when we are fearful.

God will rest in our worship not our complaints. God abides in our faith not our fears.
If God is silent ask yourself are you worshipping or complaining.

You have been anointed, keep your appointments!

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you!

Delegate

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡πŸ§
Leadership Corner ✍️

It is easy to become overwhelmed as a leader. We may lead at work, home, church, with our family, friends or other areas of our lives.

We can become consumed with being there for everyone or trying doing it all.

We were not designed to solve every problem or carry every weight. We are not Jesus! As a leader you can empower those around you to make decisions, critically think, or provide potential solutions to the issues that bubble up.

God desires that we delegate. Focus on the important things and allow those around you flourish by trusting them to handle some of the other things.

Exodus 18:21-23 (NLT)
But select from all the people some capable, honest men who fear God and hate bribes. Appoint them as leaders over groups of one thousand, one hundred, fifty, and ten. They should always be available to solve the people’s common disputes, but have them bring the major cases to you. Let the leaders decide the smaller matters themselves. They will help you carry the load, making the task easier for you. If you follow this advice, and if God commands you to do so, then you will be able to endure the pressures, and all these people will go home in peace.”

Manage the pressures of life by determining what truly requires your expertise and find ways to delegate and empower those around you to do the rest.

If you constantly take on every load, everyone around you will continue to lean on you instead of supporting you.

No one will ever do it like you but with encouragement and direction they will definitely support you and they will grow in wisdom too!

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you!

Don’t Give Up

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡πŸ€—
Judges 20:18-48

Have you ever asked God if you should go and God said yes and you failed?

God has a plan!
God’s plan for success may require several attempts to strengthen you and weaken your opponent.

If God said yes, regardless of the outcome stand on His yes.

When we are resilient we weaken the enemy, we gain wisdom, and we acquire knowledge.

When we are steadfast we trust God regardless of what we see.

The process we must go through to win sometimes requires us to fail or fall.

Trust God’s plan and get back up.

Before Israel went into battle, Israel asked God  for direction. God directed them to go, but they were ultimately defeated. As a result they encouraged each other and remained in position.

Israel cried to the Lord and asked should they go again? God directed them to go back and they were defeated a second time.

Finally, Israel cried, fasted, and offered burnt & peace offerings to the Lord. They asked God should they continue to fight or should they stop. God said “go and I will deliver them into your hands.”  Israel fought a mighty battle, surprised their opponents, and were victorious.

Don’t give up.
God’s yes is a yes.
Don’t go until Jesus says go.
Don’t stop until Jesus says stop.
Cry, fast, humble yourself before the Lord, and seek direction.
When you fall encourage yourself, stay in position, and go back to the Lord!

Be blessed and know that Jesus lovesπŸ’• you!

Have Faith

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡

We cannot work our way into the Kingdom. It is through faith we are saved.

Galatians 3:11 (NLT)
So it is clear that no one can be made right with God by trying to keep the law. For the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”

Don’t worship the law, love the Lord.
It’s through love we are restored.
Our faith is what God cannot ignore.
When we follow Him we can live void of sin.

The just should live by faith.

Hebrews 11:6 (NLT)
And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’• you!

Protect Your Gifts

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡πŸ’ͺ

Sometimes people hate us because we are blessed.  We find ourselves defending God’s blessings. They feel we have what they want or had.

If you have had the courage to walk in your blessings, do not allow haters to make you feel guilty about your favor, your abundance, your healing, your gifts, your talents, or any other blessing the Lord has given you.

Do not water down God’s glory so others can be comfortable.

We have to fight to posses what God has given us and we cannot become swayed by every naysayer that crosses our path.

Judges 11:23-24 (NLT)
“So you see, it was the Lord, the God of Israel, who took away the land from the Amorites and gave it to Israel. Why, then, should we give it back to you? You keep whatever your god Chemosh gives you, and we will keep whatever the Lord our God gives us.

We have to stand firm and defend what God has given us!

Do not allow adversity to cause you to abandon your blessings.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’• you!

Everlasting Love

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡❤️

Everlasting is a long time. Everlasting is forever. Everlasting is eternity.

Imagine being loved forever. Imagine giving love forever.

Jeremiah 31:3 (NKJV)
The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying:
“Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love;
Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.

We often look for love in all the wrong places. There is one ☝️ that will love us forever.
Can we give love in return?
Can we give ourselves what our hearts truly yearn?
Can we surrender to the only one who is filled with splendor?
Can we commit to give God our all and never quit only to fall?
Can we reciprocate or are we going to take the enemy’s bait?
Can we accept the beauty of everlasting love from our Maker high above?

Jesus has drawn us with love and kindness and has promised to love us for eternity. Allow yourself to fall in love with Jesus and live with Him in perfect harmony.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’• you!

Are you Loyal

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡❤️

Are we loyal to God? Do our hearts belong to the Lord?

Psalms 78:34-37 (NLT)
.......... They repented and took God seriously.
Then they remembered that God was their rock, that God Most High was their redeemer. But all they gave him was lip service; they lied to him with their tongues. Their hearts were not loyal to him. They did not keep his covenant.

Our actions will always follow our hearts.
We have a choice to live according to God’s will or according to our will.
When we say “the Lord knows my heart” and we do not obey the Lord, we are giving God lip service. We have lied with our tongues.

Do not wait for trouble to come to give your heart to the Lord.

God is merciful and understands our weaknesses. God is looking for believers that will say yes. Jesus desires our hearts and He will mold us into our purpose.

Your heart governs your actions.
It’s best to give it to God and remove all distractions.
The world blinds you with temptations.
Appealing to your feelings
Enticing you
Exciting You
Only to abandon you
because the benefits are very few.
Don’t forfeit your abundance for temporary indulgence.
Live for the King and watch your enemies flee
Say yes to God
As God has said yes to you.
And the Spirit of the Lord will carry you, shape you, subdue you, wash you, and make you, the new you.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’• you!

It’s Working

Today’s Inspiration πŸ’•πŸ˜ƒ

Romans 8:28 KJV
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Take heart and believe the word of God.

You are called according to his purpose and it’s working for your good.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’• you!

What are you confessing?

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡πŸ˜Š
What is your response to adversity?

I often hear people say “If it’s not one thing it’s another.” I wonder.......what does God think when we make that statement?

Is God pleased with our confessions? Can we be trusted? Do we slightly curse God with our words of annoyance when examining our plight?

Job 1:14-19 (NLT)
a messenger arrived at Job’s home with this news:.....when the Sabeans raided us. They stole all the animals and killed all the farmhands.....
While he was still speaking, another messenger arrived: “The fire of God has fallen from heaven and burned up your sheep and all the shepherds......
While he was still speaking, a third messenger arrived with this news: “Three bands of Chaldean raiders have stolen your camels and killed your servants.....
While he was still speaking, another messenger arrived with this news: “Your sons and daughters were feasting in their oldest brother’s home....Suddenly, a powerful wind swept in from the wilderness and hit the house on all sides. The house collapsed, and all your children are dead.

In an instant Job lost everything and still worshiped God. Job acknowledged God and His sovereignty. Job recognized God’s absolute rule and power over his life.

Job 1:21-22 (NLT)
Job stood up and tore his robe in grief. Then he shaved his head and fell to the ground to worship. He said, “I came naked from my mother’s womb, and I will be naked when I leave. The Lord gave me what I had, and the Lord has taken it away. Praise the name of the Lord!” In all of this, Job did not sin by blaming God.

How do we respond during slight inconveniences? What are we confessing? Are we praising the Lord or are we focused on the problem and the pain?

Praise the Lord and know if you are going through God trust you.

Weeping may endure for a night but joy is promised. Praise the Lord at all times.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’•you!

Provide Comfort

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡

There are so many brothers and sisters in Christ suffering. Suffering from some of the trials we once suffered.

When we hear suffering we should seek to comfort those as we were once comforted.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NLT)
All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.

Be a comfort to those in need. Love with the love of Christ.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’• you!

Rebellion

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‡

We have a way we think is right and then there is the right way. If our way is based on our feelings and not the word of God our way is not the right way.

Where we spend our time influences our values. If we do not spend time with the Lord, and learn the ways of the Lord, we will believe the influences of our environment.

Judges 2:12 (NLT)
They abandoned the Lord, the God of their ancestors, who had brought them out of Egypt. They went after other gods, worshiping the gods of the people around them. And they angered the Lord.

When we believe the way of the world it angers the Lord and the Lord will fight against us.

Judges 2:15 (NLT)
Every time Israel went out to battle, the Lord fought against them, causing them to be defeated, just as he had warned. And the people were in great distress.

If you have turned your back on The Lord and you are constantly defeated, repent and give God your heart today. If God be for you who can be against you?

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves you!

Don’t look back

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡πŸ˜Š

When God delivered us, He rescued us from something dangerous.

We cannot go back into captivity once we have been rescued. We cannot continue to socialize and entertain the people God delivered us from.

When God delivers us from a lifestyle we have to leave the lifestyle and everything about it behind.
We have to remove it from our lives completely or we find ourselves compromising our values and slowly falling back into captivity.

Judges 2:1-2 (NLT)
The angel of the Lord went up from Gilgal to Bokim and said to the Israelites, “I brought you out of Egypt into this land that I swore to give your ancestors, and I said I would never break my covenant with you.
For your part, you were not to make any covenants with the people living in this land; instead, you were to destroy their altars. But you disobeyed my command. Why did you do this?

Why do fail to destroy the things from our past that God delivers us from?

Why do we tolerate people, places, or things that keep us bound to sin?

Do not give the devil a foothold into your life. If God has delivered you, leave the past in the past and completely remove it from your life. Cast it into the sea of forgetfulness and move forward into the ocean of peace, love, joy, and forgiveness.

We cannot afford not to obey the Lord.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’• you!

Power

Today’s Inspiration ☀️πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‡

If you are feeling weak your strength is in Jesus.
If you need more power you need more prayer.

More prayer more power. Less prayer less power.

2 Samuel 22:33 (KJV)
God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.

If you are trying to find your way find Jesus.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’• you!

Beauty in Brokenness

Today’s Inspiration πŸ™πŸΎπŸ˜‡
Your trial is not a punishment it is a promotion.

When we find ourselves in a barren place we must bless the Lord.

In our lack God will strengthen us to walk upon our high places.

Habakkuk 3:17-19 (NLT)
Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty
(KJV)
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places.

Do not focus on what is missing or broken. Focus on Jesus. Keep your eyes on the Lord. Praise God and rejoice in the God of your salvation. Declare the word of the Lord and walk upon your high place.

We often need to be stripped of some things to force us to go higher.
When everything is blossoming our desire to move is often stagnate.

God has a higher place just for you.
God has prepared something greater.

Your lack is not a punishment it is a promotion.

Be blessed and know that Jesus Loves πŸ’žyou!
