What Do You Fear?

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡
Fear is a form of worship.
Whether you fear God or man you worship what you fear.

Take moment to think about who or what you fear. What is the root of that fear? Somewhere in that fear you have laid down our God and exalted your fear. Meaning you have made it bigger and larger than our God. You have made that person, place, or thing a god in your life.

We worship men when we obey them over Our Father.
We worship friends when we respond to peer pressure over God.
We worship money and things when we are afraid to give them away.
We worship our children when we are afraid to correct them.

Whenever we disobey God to obey someone else, we are worshiping that person or that thing.

Proverbs 29:25-26 (NKJV)
The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe. Many seek the ruler's favor, But justice for man comes from the Lord.

A snare is something that is deceptively attractive used to entrap and entangle.

We can’t be fooled into fearing anything or anyone other than the Lord.

Whatever you are facing, fear God alone. Do not consider the power or authority of sickness, employers, family, bullies or any other problem. Do not worship the problem, worship our Father, our matchless King. Jehovah Jireh is our provider. Jehovah Shalom is the Lord of peace. Jehovah Rapha is the Lord the heals.

Worship was created for God. Our God is the God over all other gods.

Acts 5:29 (NKJV)
But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you!
