Today's Inspiration ๐ถ๐ค
Living in Christ means dying to sin. When we are in Jesus sin no longer has a grip ๐on us.
We are an instrument ๐ธ for the Lord. If we are not careful we will allow our instruments ๐ป to be played for sin.
What tunes are we playing? Every moment of our lives are melodies ๐ถ. The melody depends on who we allow to play our tunes?
Romans 6:12-13 (NLT)
Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires. Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument ๐ธ to do what is right for the glory of God.
Our ways are not God's ways. What we feel is good and what God deems IS good may not be the same unless we are moving according to the Holy Spirit.
Don't be an instrument ๐ธ for the devil ๐น by allowing your thoughts ๐ญ,words๐ฃ, or actions ๐ด๐ปto play a melody of sin.
Allow Jesus to use your instrument ๐ธ for God's glory ๐๐พ. We are a part of a wonderful symphony when Jesus is our conductor. He sets the tempo to our life and we perform a masterpiece in His heavenly orchestra to play out in God's theater, in this temporary playground called life.
Think about who and what you allow to blow your horn ๐ท, play your strings๐ป, or beat your drums ๐ฅ. You are and instrument and you were designed to only play for the Lord!
Be blessed and know that Jesus loves ๐ you!
Work week devotions to keep us centered on God, despite what the week throws at us! To help us remember who we are and walk in our calling/ authority and to remind us who is in charge. For if God be with us who can be against us! Please pray before reading each post and ask God for wisdom and understanding.

Today's Motivation ๐๐๐๐พ
Listen ๐!
Why call ๐ฃon the Lord but ignore ๐God's instructions? It sounds crazy but we do this all the time. Some of us have one way communication with the Lord. Here me, save me, give me.......
Luke 6:46 (NLT) Building on a Solid Foundation
“So why do you keep calling me ‘Lord, Lord!’ when you don’t do what I say?
We have to change our posture from receiving to giving? We have to find ourselves working where God wants us, we have to find ourselves serving where God sends us and God will supply our needs.
Luke 6:38 (NLT) Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.”
When we call on the Lord AND follow God's instructions our foundation will be strong ๐ช.
Luke 6:48 (NLT)
It is like a person building a house ๐ก who digs deep and lays the foundation on solid rock. When the floodwaters rise and break against that house, it stands firm because it is well built.
A strong foundation will stand when problems come. Being in Jesus does not mean we escape problems it just means when they come we won't fall out in a temper tantrum saying God why me? We will say why not me? We will say I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. We will say there is nothing to hard for my God. We will say though I walk through the fire ๐ฅ I will not be burned.
Changing our posture from complaining to listening ๐ and following ๐ God's instructions will give us strength ๐ช for the storm ⛈. It will give us peace in the valley and most importantly we will live our purpose driven lives.
Be blessed and know that Jesus loves ๐you!

Today's Inspiration ๐๐ช๐๐พ
What is in your heart ❤️?
One of the most important prayers is to ask God to show you yourself. It is a mature prayer ๐. You have to be prepared to deal with what God shows you.
Luke 6:43-44 (NLT) The Tree and Its Fruit
“A good tree ๐ฒ can’t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit. A tree is identified by its fruit. Figs are never gathered from thornbushes, and grapes are not picked from bramble bushes.
We are what we produce. We have to take inventory and ask ourselves what are we producing?
Luke 6:45 (NLT)
A good person ๐produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil ๐นperson produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say ๐ฃflows from what is in your heart ๐.
Do your words ๐ฃproduce life ๐or death ๐ ? Do your ๐ฃwords show love ๐or disdain๐? Do your ๐ฃwords encourage ๐คor discourage๐ฅ?
Do your ๐ฃwords empower ๐ or reject ๐ช?
Ask Jesus ๐to show ๐ you your fruit because true change first begins within. You may think you are bitter or sweet but ask Jesus what Jesus sees. If you are constantly praying for God to change someone's heart, first ask to see your heart.
Be blessed and know that Jesus loves ๐ you!

Today's Motivation ๐ค๐๐
Love your enemies ๐น
We have to see God in everything. Our enemies have a purpose. Mostly they draw us closer to The Lord as they keep us on our knees ๐!They also mature us and help us with our soft skills. They teach us how to deal with conflict and manage our frustrations. They will also bring out qualities in us ๐ณ we may need to improve.
We grow tremendously when we are confronted with difficult ☹️ people.
Jesus wants us to love them and look at the process from an aerial view. We will not master conflict unless we are faced with conflict. We will not understand how to love ❤️ our enemies unless we have enemies.
Loving someone who hates you takes the love of ๐Christ. When we draw closer to Christ He softens our hearts ๐ and teaches us how to love. God removes, malice, hurt ๐ญ, and anger ๐ก from our hearts ๐ and replaces it with pure love.
Luke 6:27-28 (NLT) Love for Enemies
“But to you who are willing to listen, I say, love your enemies! Do good to those who hate you. Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you.
Open your heart ❤️. Ask God to help you love your enemies.
Luke 6:32 (NLT)
“If you love only those who love you, why should you get credit for that? Even sinners love those who love them!
Luke 6:35 (NLT)
“Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked.
Don't gossip ๐ฃ or complain about your enemies. God calls us to pray ๐ for them. Pray with a sincere heart ❤️.
Be blessed and know that Jesus loves ๐ you!

Today's Motivation ๐ค๐
Loving ๐God but lost your way...
Sometimes we lose our way even when we have served the Lord. Sometimes we become distracted by life. Sometimes we engage in activities that grieve the Holy Spirit.
When we decide to turn back to the ๐ Lord we must remember that God is Holy, Righteous but most importantly Merciful. We should not waste time punishing ๐ ourselves. God and God alone is our judge.
David lost his way. He found himself in exile while he was king ๐. Shimei began to curse David and his soldiers wanted to kill Shimei.
David allowed Shimei to curse him as he knew the Lord had allowed it. Despite the situation David remembered God's faithfulness. He focused his mind and heart on the Lord in the midst of being humiliated.
2 Samuel 16:5-7 (NLT) Shimei Curses David
As King David came to Bahurim, a man came out of the village cursing them. It was Shimei son of Gera, from the same clan as Saul’s family. He threw stones at the king and the king’s officers and all the mighty warriors who surrounded him. “Get out of here, you murderer, you scoundrel!” he shouted at David.
Don't allow curses ☠️ or humiliation to discourage you when turning back to the Lord.
2 Samuel 16:11-12 (NLT)
.......Leave him alone and let him curse, for the Lord has told him to do it. And perhaps the Lord will see that I am being wronged and will bless me because of these curses today.”
We have to see God in every situation. We have to always believe God. We have to remember God is faithful.
If you find yourself off track. Repent, turn to God, and ask for forgiveness. Don't get distracted by naysayers just keep your eyes and your heart ❤️ on Jesus.
Jesus is in the blessing business and when we repent and do what is right in the sight of the Lord, Jesus will bless!
Be blessed and know that Jesus loves ๐ you!

Today's Inspiration ๐ค๐๐๐
When we decide to love ❤️ the Lord we are immediately added to HIS VIP๐ฏ list. Some of us want the benefits without the commitment.
There are some benefits that only come with commitment to the Lord. When we decide to love ❤️ the Lord, God provides His secret service to protect us.
Psalms 91:9-12 (NLT)
If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home ๐ก.
For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.
When we decide to to Love ๐ the Lord our prayers ๐ reach Jesus quicker than express mail๐.
Psalms 91:14-16 (NLT)
The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love ❤️ me. I will protect๐ฎ those who trust in my name. When they call ☎️on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward ๐ them with a long life and give them my salvation.”
Love is action, when we love God we trust and have faith in God. When we love ❤️ God we believe and follow His instructions.
God promises to protect us when we set our hearts ๐ towards Him. When God gives instructions and we do the opposite we are outside of His protection. We cannot have both. We cannot say we love ๐God but follow our own ๐ direction.
We cannot work for American Airlines and receive Southwest benefits. We can like Southwest's employee plan and believe in their values but until we switch employers and follow Southwest's handbook we will never receive Southwest benefits.
That is just an example, some of us say we love Jesus but we are not committed ๐to God and when things happen in our lives we are quick to blame God, when we have not followed Him or loved Him, we have only used Him.
Psalms 91:1-2 (NLT)
Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He ALONE is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust ๐ค him.
Love ❤️ the Lord. Trust ๐ค God and begin to experience God's promises.
Be blessed and know that Jesus loves ๐ you!

Today's Inspiration ๐๐
We have had a lot of exams in our lives. Some we passed ๐ฏsome we needed a do over ๐. The most important test is our hearts ❤️ showing our love for the Lord.
If God examined our heart would He find a heart ❤️ dedicated to Him?
Psalms 26:2-3 (NIV)
Test me, Lord, and try me, examine my heart ❤️ and my mind๐; for I have always been mindful of your unfailing love and have lived in reliance on your faithfulness.
We have to rely on the Lord๐. This life is temporary. Don't allow another day to pass without complete love and dedication to the Lord.
Psalms 26:6-8 (NIV) I wash my hands in innocence, and go about your altar, Lord, proclaiming aloud your praise and telling of all your wonderful deeds. Lord, I love the house where you live, the place where your glory dwells.
Search your heart today๐. When Jesus unwraps it be sure He will see His reflection, and unwavering Love ❤️ and faithfulness๐ค.
If you search ๐ and there is any doubt ๐คท๐ฝ♀️give your heart ๐to the Lord.
Be blessed and know that Jesus loves ๐you.

Today's Motivation ๐๐ช✍๐ฝ
There will be times doing good ๐ will cause people to hate you. You have to remember to stay the ⛳️ course. Don't get discouraged or distracted because of haters.
Luke 6:7 (NIV) The Pharisees and the teachers of the law were looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, so they watched ๐ต️ him closely to see if he would heal on the Sabbath.
Jesus healed on the Sabbath and the Pharisees were so angry ๐ก they began plot against Him.
Luke 6:9-11 (NIV) Then Jesus said to them, “I ask you, which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to destroy it?”
He looked around at them all, and then said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He did so, and his hand was completely restored.
But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law were furious ๐ก and began to discuss with one another what they might do to Jesus.
If Jesus had haters ๐คฅ๐พ we will too. Continue to do what is right in the eyes of the Lord and don't worry about people. God will take care of the people.
Psalms 81:14-15 (MSG)
I'll make short work of your enemies, give your foes the back of my hand. I'll send the God-haters cringing like dogs, never to be heard from again.
Be blessed and know that Jesus loves ๐ you!

Tonight's Light Delight ๐
God has enemies๐น. Are we praying against the enemies of the Lord?
We have to be spiritually sensitive to agendas that are against God and the Kingdom of God and pray with fervor against them. We cannot come into agreement or acceptance with spiritual wickedness.
King ๐ David boldly prayed ๐ against the enemies of the Lord and the enemies of the Kingdom of God. King ๐ David prayed for the destruction of God's enemies until they acknowledged and respected God's authority.
Psalms 83:15-18 (MSG)
Knock the breath right out of them, so they're gasping for breath, gasping, "God." Bring them to the end of their rope, and leave them there dangling, helpless.
Then they'll learn your name: "God," the one and only High God on earth.
Pray for God's Kingdom and pray against anything contrary to the will or move of God.
Be blessed and know that Jesus loves ๐ you!

Inspiration
Today's Inspiration ๐๐๐
If everything we need comes from God, waiting wouldn't be hard because our focus would be on God. When our focus shifts from God to self ๐ or the world ๐ that is when we notice we are waiting ⏳.
When we focus on God we recognize every moment God is perfecting something in us or around us.
When we focus on Jesus we are aware of God's glory in every moment of our lives.
Waiting isn't waiting when we are ๐♂️ serving!
Waiting isn't waiting when we are following ๐ Christ.
Waiting is waiting when we take our eyes ๐คฆ๐ฝ♀️ off of Jesus!
Psalms 62:1 (MSG)
God, the one and only— I'll wait as long as he says. Everything I need comes from him,
so why not?
Everything we need for this moment and every other moment comes from God. We have to focus our hearts ๐ and minds on the Lord.
Don't get off course ⛳️ looking around. Stay focused on God! God is our Rock. He is our Fortress. He is our Provider, our Deliverer, and our Sanctifier. There is Nothing in this world ๐ we should need, want, or desire outside of God.
Psalms 62:2 (MSG) He's solid rock under my feet, breathing room for my soul, An impregnable castle: I'm set for life.
You are set for life in Jesus Christ. Walk in victory!
Be blessed and know that Jesus loves ๐you!

Today's Motivation ๐๐
Can God see your faith? Many of us have requests and prayers to God but does He see our faith ๐or our doubts?
Does is see our faith or our fear๐ง?
Does he see our faith or our unbelief.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. Where is our evidence๐ต️? When Jesus shows up does He see evidence of our faith or does he see fear and doubt. Everyone has been given a measure of faith but have we pawned it for 15 pieces of doubt๐, 30 pieces of fear๐ฎ, and 20 pieces of shame๐?
Where is our evidence๐ต๐ฝ♀️? Where is our faith?
Are you one of little faith or one that God says your faith has made you whole?
Luke 5:18-19 (MSG)
Some men arrived carrying a paraplegic on a stretcher. They were looking for a way to get into the house and set him before Jesus.
When they couldn't find a way in because of the crowd, they went up on the roof, removed some tiles, and let him down in the middle of everyone, right in front of Jesus.
Luke 5:20 (MSG)
Impressed by their bold belief, he said, "Friend, I forgive your sins."
Luke 5:20 (KJV)
And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.
Luke 5:24-25 (MSG)
.....He now spoke directly to the paraplegic: "Get up. Take your bedroll and go home." Without a moment's hesitation, he did it—got up, took his blanket, and left for home, giving glory to God all the way.
God is looking for believers๐♂️๐๐ฝ. God wants us whole. We have have to believe that God is God and go to Jesus without a doubt.
Where is your evidence๐ต️? Can God see ๐your faith?
Be blessed and know that Jesus loves ๐ you!

New Year
Today's Motivation New Year edition
Luke 5:32 (KJV)
I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Following God requires a repentant heart ❤️. It requires us to turn away from ๐
sin and turn ๐♂️towards God. Sin and God are polar opposites.
When we follow God we are turned ๐
♂️away from sin.
When we sin we turn our backs ๐คฆ♀️ to God.
Every time we turn our backs ๐ถ♀️to God we have to repent to follow Him again. We have to change our direction, change our mind, ask for forgiveness, and follow Christ.
We often convince ourselves we can follow God and sin. When we sin we are not following God. God is in the opposite direction. When we sin we have taken a detour ⚠️ from God. When we sin we stop trusting God. When we sin we grieve the Holy Spirit. When we sin we open ourselves up to the consequences of sin. When we sin we are playing Russian roulette๐ซ with our lives hoping God will clear the barrel while we pull the trigger. Practicing sin is equivalent to having suicidal tendencies.
Romans 6:22-23 (MSG)
But now that you've found you don't have to listen to sin tell you what to do, and have discovered the delight of listening ๐ to God telling you, what a surprise! A whole, healed, put-together life right now, with more and more of life on the way!
Work hard for sin your whole life and your pension is death ๐ . But God's gift ๐ is real life, eternal life, delivered by Jesus, our Master.
Don't get caught on a detour⚠️. Repent and turn to God. Ask for forgiveness, follow Christ and experience the promised abundant life.
Be blessed and know that Jesus loves ๐ you!

Today's
Today's Motivation ๐๐๐ฝ๐
If at first you don't succeed try again and again and again. We often give up too quickly. When things don't go our way and we try a few times we give up and walk ๐ถ♀️away.
We live in a microwave society that has convinced us everything should come quickly⏰. Every time we fail we learn๐. We learn something new about the process. Failure brings wisdom and trust.
Luke 5:4-5 (MSG)
When he finished teaching, he said to Simon, "Push out into deep water and let your nets out for a catch."
Simon said, "Master, we've been fishing hard all night and haven't caught even a minnow. But if you say so, I'll let out the nets."
Sometimes we fail because of the timing. When the time is right we should find ourselves ready to try again instead of on to the next thing.
Luke 5:6 (NIV)
When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break.
Trust God in the process. You have come too far to give up now! If God says cast your net, have faith to try again and cast your net.
Be blessed and know that Jesus loves ๐ you!

Today's Motivation ๐๐ค
Matthew 5:6 (MSG)
"You're blessed when you've worked up a good appetite for God. He's food and drink in the best meal you'll ever eat."
All we need is Jesus. All we need is the God. Once we grow an appetite for the Lord we will no longer desire junk food.
Isaiah 55:2-3 (MSG)
Why do you spend your money on junk food,
your hard-earned cash ๐ฐ on cotton candy?
Listen to me, listen well: Eat only the best,
fill yourself with only the finest. Pay attention, come close now, listen carefully to my life-giving, life-nourishing words. I'm making a lasting covenant commitment with you, the same that I made with David: sure, solid, enduring love.
Put away the junk food ๐ญ and empty calories, enter into God's love ❤️ and feast on nourishing, life changing, fully sustaining, endlessly satisfying, delectable cuisine.
Be blessed and know that Jesus loves๐ you!

Motivation
Today's Motivation ๐☝️๐
God truly desires to fight ๐ช our battles. He wants to provide our every need but He desires our heart ❤️. He desires us to walk upright in Him.
Psalms 81:13-14 (NIV)
“If my people would only listen ๐ to me, if Israel would only follow my ways, how quickly I would subdue their enemies and turn my hand against their foes!
Jesus wants to quickly take care of our troubles but we have to follow Him. Some of us have stubborn hearts ๐. God has been tugging and some have been ignoring. God has been pleading and some have been enjoying ways contrary to God's will.
Psalms 81:11-12 (NIV)
“But my people would not listen to me; Israel would not submit to me. So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts to follow their own devices.
When we are in trouble there is only one ☝️ who can save set free and deliver.
Psalms 81:7 (NIV)
In your distress you called and I rescued you, I answered you out of a thundercloud.....
Psalms 81:10 (KJV) I am the Lord thy God.....
It is always God. Our hearts ๐ belong to HIM. Anything contrary to the will of God will lead us to DESTRUCTION. Turn your heart ๐ to God. If Jesus has been tugging at your heart to go higher and deeper in Him answer the call☎️. If your back has been turned away and your heart has grown stubborn turn to the Lord today.
๐Most holy and Everlasting King. You are the Lord our God. Lord God, please forgive our stubborn ways. We repent and ask you to open the eyes of our hearts ๐ so we could see you in every area of our lives even those areas we have turned a deaf ear. We want to open our mouths wide so you may fill us completely. Lead us, Lord, to recognize the ungodliness hiding in our will and give us the wisdom turn it over to you. Help us to submit our will to yours and allow you to lead us to victory in Christ Jesus. Amen ๐
Be blessed and know Jesus loves ๐ you!
