Why does God save?

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡πŸ’ž
God saves us for one reason!
We often seek the Lord when we need financial assistance, healing, deliverance from something or someone, or some other issue.

The Lord saves us for one reason. God saves us so that we will worship Him.

If you are not prepared to worship the Lord you are not ready to be healed, set free financially, or delivered.

Exodus 9:1 (NLT)
“Go back to Pharaoh,” the Lord commanded Moses. “Tell him, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of the Hebrews, says: Let my people go, so they can worship me.

God is not interested in our part-time love and affection. God is not interested in our circumstantial love.

God is a jealous God. God wants us to love Him with all of our hearts, minds, and souls.

Matthew 22:37-38 (NKJV)
Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment.

Do you love the Lord? Is your love evident in your lifestyle? Begin your day with worship.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’žyou!

Dad’s Kids

Today’s Inspiration πŸ’žπŸ˜‡
Who is your Daddy?

1 John 3:1 (NLT)
See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him.

We are God’s children and we should have characteristics of our Father not of the the world. When we allow the Spirit of the Lord to reign in our lives it is easy to possess characteristics of our Father.

When we allow our flesh to reign we emancipate ourselves from our Father and take on the ways of the world.

Allow the Spirit of Lord to continually refine your identity. Knowing who you are helps you to stand when all others fall.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you!

We need more love πŸ’•

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡
John 15:17 (NKJV)
These things I command you, that you love one another.

How different would the world would be if followed this one simple command?

We cannot change the world but we can influence our world.

We have a circle of influence.
We must begin with loving ourselves.
Through consistency we will intentionally impact everyone in our circle by demonstrating love for them and love for others.
By our influence those in our circle will impact those in their circle and the cycle of love will continue to expand  and the cycle of hate will begin to shrink.

When we gossip we are judging and criticizing.
When we gossip we are advancing the enemy’s kingdom. When we gossip we are not loving one another. If we use the same energy to show love and compassion we will advance the Kingdom of the Lord through our obedience.

I was out of town and someone in the supermarket showed me an act of love and told me Jesus loved me and it pricked my heart and brought me to salvation.

We need more love.

Gossiping and criticizing keeps us bound to the enemy and not free in Christ Jesus.

Obey the Lord and love one another.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you!

What Do You Fear?

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡
Fear is a form of worship.
Whether you fear God or man you worship what you fear.

Take moment to think about who or what you fear. What is the root of that fear? Somewhere in that fear you have laid down our God and exalted your fear. Meaning you have made it bigger and larger than our God. You have made that person, place, or thing a god in your life.

We worship men when we obey them over Our Father.
We worship friends when we respond to peer pressure over God.
We worship money and things when we are afraid to give them away.
We worship our children when we are afraid to correct them.

Whenever we disobey God to obey someone else, we are worshiping that person or that thing.

Proverbs 29:25-26 (NKJV)
The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe. Many seek the ruler's favor, But justice for man comes from the Lord.

A snare is something that is deceptively attractive used to entrap and entangle.

We can’t be fooled into fearing anything or anyone other than the Lord.

Whatever you are facing, fear God alone. Do not consider the power or authority of sickness, employers, family, bullies or any other problem. Do not worship the problem, worship our Father, our matchless King. Jehovah Jireh is our provider. Jehovah Shalom is the Lord of peace. Jehovah Rapha is the Lord the heals.

Worship was created for God. Our God is the God over all other gods.

Acts 5:29 (NKJV)
But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you!

Dad’s Home

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡πŸ˜Š
God’s house is our house. We are the temples of the Lord. The Spirit of the Lord is in each of us.

Have we prepared a magnificent place for God to dwell?

2 Chronicles 2:4 (NLT)
I am about to build a Temple to honor the name of the Lord my God. It will be a place set apart to burn fragrant incense before him, to display the special sacrificial bread, and to sacrifice burnt offerings each morning and evening....

Do we honor the name of the Lord our God with our lives?
Do we set aside time to offer up worship and praise to the Lord day and night?
Do we deny our flesh so the Spirit of the Lord will reign supreme in our lives?

Solomon declared the greatness of our God. He built a magnificent temple to honor the Lord.

2 Chronicles 2:5-6 (NLT)
“This must be a magnificent Temple because our God is greater than all other gods. But who can really build him a worthy home? Not even the highest heavens can contain him!......

Do we declare the greatness of our God when we are tempted? Do we refuse to defile ourselves because we are vessels that are called to honor the name of the Lord?

Romans 12:1 (NLT)
And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.

Worship Jesus with your life! Think on the awesomeness of our Father and look deep inside to create a magnificent home for our Father to dwell.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you!

Refreshing

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡

Have you ever felt alone?
God is always with you. Jesus will never leave you.

Psalms 121:5-8 (NLT)
The Lord himself watches over you!
The Lord stands beside you as your protective shade. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night. The Lord keeps you from all harm
and watches over your life.
The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.

Life may test you and stretch you but God is with you. When the burdens are heavy and the solutions are few, reach for God to replenish and refresh you.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you!

Faith

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡
Are you allowing the word of God to strengthen your faith?

Romans 10:17 (KJV)
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

If your faith has been weakened it is probably hungry and thirsty for the word of God. People may encourage you but only the word of God can strengthen and fortify your faith.

Here are some faith strengtheners. Meditate on the word of God Day and night (Jos 1:8).

Combat fear
Joshua 1:9 (NLT)
This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Healing
Jeremiah 17:14 (NLT)
O Lord, if you heal me, I will be truly healed; if you save me, I will be truly saved. My praises are for you alone!

Peace
John 14:27 (NLT)
“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.

Wisdom
James 1:5-6 (NLT)
If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind.

Praise
Psalms 30:4 (NLT)
Sing to the Lord, all you godly ones! Praise his holy name.

Do not lose faith, strengthen your faith daily. Do not allow yourself to become unsettled. Stand firm knowing God is Sovereign and Omnipotent. If you do not understand what is going on with you or your loved ones remember you do not know the plans of the Lord.
1 Corinthians 1:25 (NLT)
This foolish plan of God is wiser than the wisest of human plans, and God’s weakness is stronger than the greatest of human strength.

Strengthen your faith with the word!

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’žyou!

Be A Blessing

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡

It is a blessing to be a blessing. God blesses us when we bless others with love, kind words, and a tender heart. God has called us to be blessing.

1 Peter 3:8-9 (NLT)
Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude. Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you his blessing.

Vengeance is for the Lord. Our duty is not to repay evil with evil but to give the gift of love.

Don’t allow someone to cause you to sin by displaying traits of the enemy. We are to have the character of God to draw men and women to Christ. We are not our own. We represent the Lord. When someone insults us we should remain firm knowing we are ambassadors of Christ.

It is only the enemy that would tempt us to sin, as he wishes to draw us to him and away from God. Do not fall into the enemy’s trap.
Ephesians 4:27 for anger gives a foothold to the devil.

It is a blessing to be a blessing and a curse to be a curse. When we sin we sin against the Lord. When we retaliate we sin against Jesus.
Be a blessing and you will be blessed.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you!

Fugitive Disciple

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡

Don’t become a fugitive disciple.

Sometimes we find our faith shaken and we begin to say and do things contrary to God’s word and will.

When God anoints you it means He has appointed you to an assignment. Keep your appointments with Jesus regardless of what is going on around you.

Elijah became a fugitive servant when his life was threatened. He retreated into the mountains, became irrational, and suicidal.

1 Kings 19:3-4 (NLT)
Elijah was afraid and fled for his life. He went to Beersheba, a town in Judah, and he left his servant there. Then he went on alone into the wilderness, traveling all day. He sat down under a solitary broom tree and prayed that he might die. “I have had enough, Lord,” he said. “Take my life, for I am no better than my ancestors who have already died.”

How often do we imagine the worst outcome when we are faced with calamities? How quickly do we forget our appointments when pressure mounts? How regularly do we focus on the problem instead of the Solver?

Matthew 11:28-30 (NLT)
Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

If your burdens are too heavy don’t become a fugitive disciple, don’t become suicidal, don’t execute your own plan, go to Jesus and He will give you rest.

It is hard to hear from The Lord when we are wallowing in our feelings. It is hard to hear from God when we are fearful.

God will rest in our worship not our complaints. God abides in our faith not our fears.
If God is silent ask yourself are you worshipping or complaining.

You have been anointed, keep your appointments!

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you!

Delegate

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡πŸ§
Leadership Corner ✍️

It is easy to become overwhelmed as a leader. We may lead at work, home, church, with our family, friends or other areas of our lives.

We can become consumed with being there for everyone or trying doing it all.

We were not designed to solve every problem or carry every weight. We are not Jesus! As a leader you can empower those around you to make decisions, critically think, or provide potential solutions to the issues that bubble up.

God desires that we delegate. Focus on the important things and allow those around you flourish by trusting them to handle some of the other things.

Exodus 18:21-23 (NLT)
But select from all the people some capable, honest men who fear God and hate bribes. Appoint them as leaders over groups of one thousand, one hundred, fifty, and ten. They should always be available to solve the people’s common disputes, but have them bring the major cases to you. Let the leaders decide the smaller matters themselves. They will help you carry the load, making the task easier for you. If you follow this advice, and if God commands you to do so, then you will be able to endure the pressures, and all these people will go home in peace.”

Manage the pressures of life by determining what truly requires your expertise and find ways to delegate and empower those around you to do the rest.

If you constantly take on every load, everyone around you will continue to lean on you instead of supporting you.

No one will ever do it like you but with encouragement and direction they will definitely support you and they will grow in wisdom too!

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you!

Don’t Give Up

Today’s Inspiration πŸ˜‡πŸ€—
Judges 20:18-48

Have you ever asked God if you should go and God said yes and you failed?

God has a plan!
God’s plan for success may require several attempts to strengthen you and weaken your opponent.

If God said yes, regardless of the outcome stand on His yes.

When we are resilient we weaken the enemy, we gain wisdom, and we acquire knowledge.

When we are steadfast we trust God regardless of what we see.

The process we must go through to win sometimes requires us to fail or fall.

Trust God’s plan and get back up.

Before Israel went into battle, Israel asked God  for direction. God directed them to go, but they were ultimately defeated. As a result they encouraged each other and remained in position.

Israel cried to the Lord and asked should they go again? God directed them to go back and they were defeated a second time.

Finally, Israel cried, fasted, and offered burnt & peace offerings to the Lord. They asked God should they continue to fight or should they stop. God said “go and I will deliver them into your hands.”  Israel fought a mighty battle, surprised their opponents, and were victorious.

Don’t give up.
God’s yes is a yes.
Don’t go until Jesus says go.
Don’t stop until Jesus says stop.
Cry, fast, humble yourself before the Lord, and seek direction.
When you fall encourage yourself, stay in position, and go back to the Lord!

Be blessed and know that Jesus lovesπŸ’• you!
