Today's Inspiration ๐Ÿ’“๐Ÿ›ก๐Ÿ’ฏ

The world is often unforgiving and brutal, but God is gentle.

2 Samuel 22:36 (NKJV)
“You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; Your gentleness has made me great.

Jesus gently guides us to righteousness. When we allow God to be our shield, He makes us great! He covers us in war. He enlarges our path. Jesus gives of strength and power.

2 Samuel 22:31 (NKJV)
As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.

When we trust God he will allow us to leap over walls and will place our enemies at our feet.

2 Samuel 22:30 (NKJV)
For by You I can run against a troop; By my God I can leap over a wall.

Trust the Lord today and Jesus will make you great!

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves ๐Ÿ’ž you!

Today's Inspiration ๐Ÿ’“๐Ÿ’ช ☎️

Who do we call when we need love or when we are in distress? Do we call a friend, a family member, or a significant other? Do we call Jesus?

2 Samuel 22:7 (NKJV)
In my distress I called upon the Lord, And cried out to my God; He heard my voice from His temple, And my cry entered His ears.

Our cries are delivered to God's ears.

God can only hear our cry if we cry out to Him. Some of us refuse to cry or refuse to call out to the Lord when we are in distress. We try to handle it ourselves or we vent to someone else.

We need lay down our pride and cry out to the Lord.

2 Samuel 22:32-33 (NLT)
For who is God except the Lord? Who but our God is a solid rock? God is my strong fortress, and he makes my way perfect.

God is the solid rock. There isn't anyone we could call that would be a better protector or a clearer guide.

Confide in God, trust He is will provide, because He is the only one that is qualified!

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves ๐Ÿ’ž you!

Today's Inspiration ❤️๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’—

Some of us have an idea of God but have not truly experienced the Lord.

It's when we smell His sweet aroma, see His glory, experience His mercy, or feel His Holy Spirit moving in us or around us, that we can freely give our lives and live boldly for the Lord.

Matthew 16:26 (NLT)
And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?

Jesus is greater when we make Him greater. When we focus our minds and hearts on Jesus we declare to the world, that only Jesus can have our soul.

When we deny our flesh we are really denying ourselves from from being destroyed and saying yes to being blessed!

Following Jesus is not about religion. Following Jesus is all about being in love with our Lord and Savior and eagerly looking for opportunities to do our Father's business.

God is looking for our whole heart and He will give us our desires (Psa 37:4).

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves ๐Ÿ’ž you!

Today's Inspiration ๐Ÿ’ž❤️๐Ÿ’“

Love, love, and more love.

God is against those who do evil. God hears the prayers of those pursuing peace.

1 Peter 3:8 (NKJV)
Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous;

Sometimes it's hard to think of ourselves as evil. When we retaliate that is evil. When we use language to hurt or degrade someone that is evil.

1 Peter 3:9 (NLT)
Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you his blessing.

God allows us to be angry but instructs us not to sin (Eph 4:26).

1 Peter 3:10-12 (NLT)
“If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies. Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it. The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil.”

We are called to not only search for peace but pursue it to maintain peace in our surroundings.

God's word is not dependent on our mood or our feelings.

Forgive quickly. Don't allow anger to cause you to sin against God.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves ๐Ÿ’žyou!

Today's Inspiration ๐Ÿ™ ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ’ž

Bless your stress....

We often stress over our lack. We magnify what we don't have and minimize what we do have.

We have Jesus! The outcome of every situation changes when we give it to Jesus!

If we are magnifying our problems we are minimizing our God.

When Jesus had to feed thousands on five loaves and two fish, He blessed the disciples stress.

The disciples were stressing over their lack. Jesus said take your authority back.

Mark 6:36-38 (NLT)
Send the crowds away so they can go to the nearby farms and villages and buy something to eat.” But Jesus said, “You feed them.”
“With what?” they asked. “We’d have to work for months to earn enough money to buy food for all these people!” “How much bread do you have?” he asked. “Go and find out.”
They came back and reported, “We have five loaves of bread and two fish.”

Don't magnify the problem. Magnify the Solver.

Mark 6:41 (NKJV)
And when He had taken the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to heaven, blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and the two fish He divided among them all.
So they all ate and were filled. And they took up twelve baskets full of fragments and of the fish. Now those who had eaten the loaves were about five thousand men.

Trust God, Bless God, and give It to God!

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves ๐Ÿ’ž you!

Today's Inspiration ๐Ÿ’ž๐Ÿค๐Ÿคฅ๐Ÿ˜ˆ๐ŸŽฒ๐Ÿšฌ๐Ÿ’Š๐Ÿ”ฎ
Resist Remove Refrain

Temptation comes in many different forms. Temptation is a strong desire to do something unwise.

James 1:12 (NKJV)
Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

To overcome temptation, our love for God must be greater than our love for ourselves.

Temptation is personalized to our own desires.
Desires give birth to sin and full grown sin brings death.

James 1:13-15 (NKJV)
Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.

Resist, Remove and Refrain!

Resist the devil and he will flee.
Remove yourself from the temptation.
Refrain from opening the door to sin.

Resist! James 4:7 (NKJV)
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Remove! 2 Timothy 2:22 (NLT)
Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Instead, pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. Enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts.

Refrain! Romans 6:13 (NLT)
Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God.

Do not allow sin to become fully grown in your life.  Resist, Remove, and Refrain and you will receive the crown of life.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves ๐Ÿ’ž you!
