Anger

Today’s Inspiration ❤️☀️😑

Anger keeps us from God. Anger is the condiment that gives sin its flavor. Anger makes us feel good when we take revenge.

Vengeance is reserved for the Lord.  When we act on our anger we have decided to become lord, by worshiping ourselves and our feelings.

We cannot worship ourselves and worship Jesus. There is only room for one Lord to reign.

Jam 1:19(ESV) Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.

We were created for righteousness.

Ephesians 4:26 (ESV)
Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger.

We must forgive quickly and often.

Ecclesiastes 7:9 (ESV)
Be not quick in your spirit to become angry, for anger lodges in the heart of fools.

Anger sneaks into your heart seducing you from the start. Enticing you with hurt feelings making you immune to forgiving.

When your heart becomes hard there isn’t any room to hear from God.
When your heart is hard you turn your back on the Almighty God.
When your heart is hard you become your own god.

Anger doesn’t care that you are a joint heir. Her job is to rob you of your inheritance by keeping you from repentance.
Anger will hold you hostage with your emotions and keep you from daily devotions.
Anger will caress and seduce you, to keep you from walking in what God has.... for you.
Anger will wrap you in her arms and promise to protect you from all harm.

Anger is a deceiver created to destroy the heart of the believer. Don’t allow anger to be your anchor. Trust in the Lord your Maker.

Be blessed and know that Jesus Loves πŸ’ž you!

How do you know you love God

Today’s Inspiration ❤️

How do you know you truly love God? How do you demonstrate your love for the Lord? If you were arrested today for loving the Lord what evidence would they have against you? Would you be convicted beyond a reasonable doubt or would they drop the charges due to insufficient evidence?

Whenever I read psalms of David I can always count on King David confessing his love to God.

How often do you tell the Lord “I love you”? How often do you reflect on God’s marvelous works and not your personal problems. How often do you sing to the Lord just for love, just because?

Psalms 18:1-2 (NLT)
I love you, Lord; you are my strength.
The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.

Who is God to you? Does he reign in your life?

If Jesus is Lord, sing to Him and profess your love today and always!

Be blessed and know that Jesus LovesπŸ’ž you!

Mourning into Joy

Today’s Inspiration πŸ€—πŸ€£
We can choose joy or we can choose pain. God can turn mourning into joy when we allow joy to be employed. When we no longer give our hearts to pain by reliving the hurt everyday.
We must fire hurt and pain because when we employ them we have nothing to gain but bitterness and disdain.
But when we turn our hearts over to the Lord, He takes our mourning and gives us joy.

Psalms 30:11-12 (NLT)
You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, that I might sing praises to you and not be silent.
O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever!

Give thanks to God and give your heart to the Lord so the pain you feel you will feel no more.

Be blessed and know that Jesus Loves πŸ’žyou!

God’s Love πŸ’•

Today’s Inspiration ☀️❤️
Fear is the absence of hope. God lives among us to calm our fears. God’s word was given to us to provide us with hope and encouragement while we passionately pursue all that God has for us.

When we do not accept God’s Love we become victims of fear and doubt. When we do not read God’s word we become discouraged while we wait.

Zephaniah 3:17 (NLT)
For the Lord your God is living among you.
He is a mighty savior.
He will take delight in you with gladness.
With his love, he will calm all your fears.
He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”

Imagine God rejoicing over you and calming All your fears. That is the peace we have in Christ Jesus.

When we put our trust in God and receive God’s love, worry and doubt fade away.

Romans 15:4 (NLT)
...... And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled.

Read God’s word and your heart will be encouraged. Accept God’s love your fears will fade away.

Don’t live in your own spotlight!

Today’s Inspiration πŸ’‘πŸ˜‡
Don’t live in your spotlight!

Isaiah 50:11 (NLT)
But watch out, you who live in your own light
and warm yourselves by your own fires.
This is the reward you will receive from me:
You will soon fall down in great torment.

God’s light is the only light that should shine bright. Trust God and he will allow your light to shine. Don’t warm yourself thinking and boasting about your great works.

Every good and perfect thing comes from the Lord. We are not our own. We belong to the Lord.

Be blessed and know that Jesus Loves πŸ’žyou!

God’s Love

Today’s Inspiration πŸ€—πŸ’ž

It’s hard to truly understand the power of God. The magnitude of his power. The depth of his grace. The breadth of his mercy. The immeasurability of his love and extent of his dominion.

If we understood his level of supreme power, authority, and dominion we would approach God with an appropriate level of reverence and faith that supersedes doubt . We would not allow ourselves to enter into fear or pity because we would consider we serve the All powerful, All mighty God. We would consider we serve the King of kings and the Lord of lords. We would consider we serve the Creator of the universe.

God’s love is infinite. God’s power is limitless. If God be for you WHO could be against you?

Romans 8:31 (NLT)
Nothing Can Separate Us from God’s Love
What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?

It is ok to consider your situation but TRUST your God!

Be blessed and know that Jesus Loves πŸ’žyou!

Do you believe it’s working?πŸ˜‡

Today’s Inspiration πŸ‘†πŸ˜‡πŸ’ž
Do you believe it’s working?

In life we have peaks and valleys.

When we believe God, our valleys become opportunities that help sustain our peaks. The only way out of a valley is up. If we look down and around, we will never get off the ground.

When we look up we see where we are going and not where we are.
When we look up we see God.
When we see God we have hope.
When we have hope we trust God
When we trust God we gain strength.
When we gain strength we acquire momentum.
When we acquire momentum we look for ways out of the valley.
When we get out the valley we give God glory! When we give God glory we share our story! When we share our story we plant a seed that grows into a vine, that the next person in the valley will find.
Because we took the time, they will be able to use that vine, to help them climb out of the valley that has them confined.

When we see God’s glory we realize we are a part of a much bigger story.

Romans 8:28-29 (NLT)
And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

We are siblings in Christ whatever you are going through Jesus already paid the price. Your life story is for God’s glory.

Be blessed and know that Jesus Loves πŸ’žyou!

You Are Chosen! Cry out!πŸ—£

Today’s Inspiration πŸ€— πŸ’‘πŸ—£
You are chosen! Cry out!!

God chose us for royalty!
We should look and sound different.

We should not be in camouflage blending in. We are not in a covert operation.
We are not undercover.
We are royalty. We are Holy. We are peculiar.

1 Peter 2:1-3 (NLT)
So get rid of all evil behavior. Be done with all deceit, hypocrisy, jealousy, and all unkind speech. Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment, now that you have had a taste of the Lord’s kindness.

Cry out for the Lord! Cry out for God’s nourishment. To grow in God we need God. Like babies need constant nourishment we need to constantly receive God’s direction and correction, so we can have His reflection.

1 Peter 2:9 (KJV)
Ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light.

God is Light. Stay in the light and continue to shine bright. Stay connected to the King because YOU are his chosen offspring.

Be blessed and know that Jesus LovesπŸ’ž you!
