Today's Inspiration πŸ€—πŸ’ž
Upper Limit Faith

Everyone has been given a measure of faith. We all have an upper limit of faith. Our upper limit is usually tested during hard times. It usually presents itself when we encounter unfamiliar trials.

When Jesus was on the boat with the disciples and the boat encountered a terrible storm, the disciples hit their upper limit of faith.
They had faith in the storm. They even had faith when the boat began to take on water. It was when the boat was full of water and it began to sink that they hit their upper limit of faith.

Mark 4:37
And a furious storm of wind [of hurricane proportions] arose, and the waves kept beating into the boat, so that it was already filled.

When it appears that we are sinking and we have reached our upper limit of faith we need to watch our confessions. When the storms are raging and it appears we are going to die we must remember we are in God's hands and we must confess God's word.

Mark 4:38-40 (NLT)
Jesus was sleeping at the back of the boat with his head on a cushion. The disciples woke him up, shouting, “Teacher, don’t you care that we’re going to drown?”
When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Silence! Be still!” Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm. Then he asked them, “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?”

We have to watch our upper limit of faith. When we are tested we must remember to go to the Father with faith and not fear. Confess the word of the Lord always!

Confess:
God you said you would never leave me or forsake me. I am in need of your help today. Lord you said be strong and of good courage (Deut 31:6) please give me courage in this storm. Lord you said you would rebuke the devourer (Mal 3:11) for my sake. Lord I need you to rebuke the wind and silence the waves.

Trust God, He specializes in the impossible. Remember you cannot drown if you are on the same ship as the Lord. You are in His hands. Be strong and have faith in God.

Be blessed and know that Jesus loves πŸ’ž you!
